Our Story
Southern Controls was founded in 1974 in Montgomery, Alabama by two founders with a vision to provide the Southeast with a reliable source for industrial automation products and technical expertise.
From that small beginning, we've grown to 8 locations across Alabama, Louisiana, Tennessee, and Georgia, with over 100 employees serving customers throughout the region. Our team includes 35+ inside sales representatives and 15+ outside sales professionals, all backed by experienced controls engineers.
What sets us apart is our people. Many of our team members have been with Southern Controls for 15 to 25+ years, bringing deep institutional knowledge and strong customer relationships. This stability and expertise translate directly into better service for our customers.
